Ministry

“Langston works with nonprofits and ministries to procure free Scriptures for the sight-impaired. His Louisiana-based ministry, Insight International, sends Bibles in Braille and large print around the world — in 40 languages.”

Glynn and Ann Langston (who met on a blind date) and their children, Andre and Elise, now live in Carencro, Louisiana, following 22 years of mission service in Cork, Ireland. While in Ireland, Glynn touched the lives of many in other countries as he began developing the groundwork for his international ministry. His ministry has taken him to Scotland, France, Africa, and many other European and Middle Eastern countries.

Now that Glynn and his family are back in America, Glynn is busy establishing, expanding and directing Insight International, a Braille and tape ministry to the sight impaired around the world. Through Glynn's commitment, and with the help of the Lord and many caring individuals and churches, this Braille outreach ministry has made tremendous strides. Operating on a pay-as-you-go basis, Glynn has been able to pay for his office and provide Braille literature (postage, printing, etc.) to desiring individuals around the world.

Glynn still spends several months each year, speaking in Europe, introducing the ministry, while speaking and teaching in Churches, schools, and to other groups.

“My wife and I have worked on the mission field for the past 30 years. Before returning to the States, we began plans to start a full-time Braille ministry. We have been able to engage in extensive research and activity into both equipment and the global need for our ministry.”

“The demand for Braille religious literature is remarkably high, especially in third world countries, the former Soviet Union and Eastern Europe. Recently, because a small amount of Braille Bible literature was sent to Ghana, five people obeyed the Lord. In one year, 19 souls were added to Christ in South India as a result of Bibles and lessons being sent in the Tamil language.”
